Who is roof rejuvenation right for?

The best candidates are homeowners with asphalt shingle roofs between 7 and 20 years old that are structurally sound but showing signs of age: fading color, mild granule loss, or early brittleness. Roofs in that range have lost enough oil to benefit from treatment while still having the structural integrity to hold the coating.

Newer roofs (under 7 years) can also benefit from a protective treatment, particularly in Virginia's humid summers. Roofs over 20 years are assessed individually: some qualify, others do not.
